::::: Hawaiian Noseriding Classic 2005 :::::

Surf Garage was one of the major sponsors for this year's Hawaiian Noseriding Classic 2005 surf contest at the Waikiki Beach (10/8 & 10/9). Nice weather and 2 - 4 ft off-shore condition with occasional 5 ft set rolled in during this exciting contest. The contest was divided by age, weight, and vintage board divisions. Our "wahine" team rider, Akoi, garnered 4th place in the weight division and 6th place in the age division. Our "kane" team rider, Toots garnered 1st place in the vintage board division, 4th place in the age division, and 6th place in the weight division. Congratulations to all for your participation and see you again next year!

::::: 2005 Local Motion - Surf Into Summer - Surf Contest at Ala Moana :::::

Toru garners 1st Place in the Men's Longboard (31 & Over) Division

Congratulations to Toru Yamaguchi in winning the 2005 Local Motion's Surf Into Summer surf contest. He won 1st place in the Men's Longboard (31 & Over) Division. The surf contest was held during the Memorial weekend at the famous south shore, Ala Moana Bowls. It's one of his favorite surf spots in Town. Congratulations Toru!

::::: Surfing the Nations 2005 - Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Surf Contest :::::

Surfing the Nations surf contest was held at the Waikiki beach on the weekend of 5/7/05 for the Sri Lanka tsunami victims. It was a beautiful sunny weekend with lots of good fun. All our team-riders rode Christenson surfboards during this contest period. We hope this contest will come back next year again. Surf into Summer @ Bowls will take place on May 28 - 30, 2005. See you there!

At the Hawaiian Amateur Surfing Association's (H.A.S.A.) Event #9 at Diamond Head (4/14/05), Keoni was 3rd place for Junior Men's Longboard division.
