I pick the Japan Air Line to Denpasar for this trip cuz I can stop over Japan once and better connection than Continental Air or China Air, Price are almost same.
I took 3 boards which is 5′10 CC/Qwad fish, 6′3 Campbell/3fin Bonzer,and 7′4 Merrick/Mini Gun. total 35lb! JAL charged me $275! for these boards to Denpasar.( give me a brake)
7 hours to Narita, 4 hours of transit at Narita and another 7 hours to Denpasar.
HUMID! arrived there 12:00 mid-night, but so Humid, I got sweaty right-a-way.
I went BALIAN next morning took 1-1/2 hour from KUTA downtown. it’s a country side of Bali, classy.
Waves are super glassy 4ft with 2 other surfers in the morning. Let me try my first Indian Ocean wave.
今回の旅には日本を代表する航空会社JALを選びました、コンチやチャイナに比べて乗り継ぎが良いし,日本にも立ち寄れるし、かつ価格はそれほど変わらないし。
今回持参したボードはクリスの5′10クワッドフィッシュ、キャンベルブラザーの6′3-3フィンボンザー、メリックの7′4ミニガン、その他を含めたコーフィンバッグの総重量16kg、オーバーチャージは何と$275！まいった。
成田まで約7時間、乗り継ぎに4時間、デンパサールまで7時間の旅を終えて目的地に到着したのは現地時間0:00．暑い、蒸す、すぐに汗だくになってしまう。
翌日は最初の目的地バリアン、クタから約1:30、田舎です、いいです。 波はスーパーグラッシーのオーバーヘッド、他に見えるサーファーは二人、ご馳走になります。
それでは、初のインド洋の波に乗ってみましょう。
Do you still remember when you first time riding Bicycle?
My 3rd son Kazuto/He just find how to ride bicycle last weekend at our
parking lot with Daniel’s help. Kazuto/He doesn’t want to try until that day
but now he found out how to GLIDE and LEAN. Maybe he can glide & Lean with surfboard someday?
皆さん、初めて自転車に乗れた日のことを覚えていますか？
三男「和人」が先週末、お店の駐車場でダニエルの協力の下、自転車に乗れるようになりました。
今日まで乗ることに興味も示さなかったのですが、グライド感と傾倒感を身体で掴んだようです。
これでサーフボードでグライド・傾倒する日も近いかも？(結構嬉しい)
Long time no see cuz I went Bali, G-land and Japan for a surf trip by myself.
It was a good experience to surf different countries and waves so I’ll be posting at this blog later.

永らくのご無沙汰です。 実は私一人でバリ・Gランド・日本へのサーフトリップに
出掛けてました。 異国の地、ハワイとは異なる波との出会いは良い経験に
なりました。この模様は今後のブログにあげていくのでお楽しみに。
暫くアップできませんでした、ごめんなさい。
クリスは14本のシェープを終え既にサンディエゴに戻ってます。
それにしても彼のシェープはまるで機械のように正確で早いです。
ここハワイでシェープルームを借りているロコシェーパー「グレン」も呆れてます。
この後彼はイギリス・ポルトガル・オランダ・フランス・エジプト・日本などへ
プレイナー片手にワールドシェープツアーの旅に出ます。本当に凄い奴です。
今回のハワイ滞在中は波も良くシェープもスムースに進み、
私もクリスも満足のいくものでした。
ボードは既にジョン・リチャードソン、ジャック・リーブスらの手に渡り
ラミネートの順番を待っています。
仕上がり次第順次HPで紹介して行きますのでお楽しみに。

Chris/He already fright back to San Diego after 14 boards shape.
He is like a shape machine, so quick and so collect, it was amazing!
Chris will going to world shape tour with his Skill planer, will visit for shape
England,France,Portugal,Holland,Egypt,and Japan. He is really grate shaper.
Shaped blanks are already went to laminator like a John Richardson, Jack Reeves.
waiting for times are coming.
I’ll put those board to our HP when we get back those from John and Reeves.
予定通り、クリスがシェープをしに来てくれました。
昨夜は牛角にてウェルカムディナーを設け、私共&クリステンソンライダー「トゥース」（左端）、
丁度日本から来ていた古市陽子ちゃん、店の番頭ダニエル君(右上)を交え
楽しい一時を過ごしました。 今日はウォームアップと言う事でフィッシュを2本ほど手始めに
削ってもらいました。今回は11ftのグライダー2本を含め15-20ほど削ってもらう予定.
今週は半ばから末に掛けてサウスにウネリが届いてくるので良い波でサーフィンも
楽しんでもらえそうです。波は既に上がり始めているのでどんなセッションになるのか楽しみです。
Christenson came in to the Hawaii on schedule.
We had welcome dinner last night at “Gyukaku ” with our team rider “Toots”,
she from Japan Yoko, Chris,Daniel from shop and me, had good time all-together.
He’ll shape 15-20 hand shape those included 2 of 11′ glider.
We may have good south swell sometime Mid to late part of this week.
I can tell swell are all already come in, I can’t wait.
昨日、Takayamaからのボードが届いてきました。
その中には今月末フランスで行われる大カイに参加する我がチームライダー
カイ・サラス君が使用するボード「EHUKAI」も含まれていました。
これも、ここ最近来ているEPSフォーム+エポキシ樹脂のボードです。
とにかく、軽い!すっごく軽い！こんなに軽いロングボードは持ったこと無い
本人も大満足のご満悦でした。早速お店用にオーダー可能か工場に確かめると
うちだけ特別にOKとお返事頂けました。カイのボードはあくまでも大会仕様なので
一般には僅かながら重たくなるという事でしたが、タカヤマシェープにEPS、
これは最強の武器になるのでは無いでしょうか。頑張ってねKai君.

super duper Light! abusorutry Light. Off coarse Kai/He love those boards.
We able to place order to DT factory this special board but got be
slightly heavythan Kai’s board for keep strength.

昨日の日曜日、朝早くからノース参りに行ってきました。
Typhoon9′6のビッグウェーブロング、6′6のミニガン、得意のクリスの5′10Quadを用意して
万全で行ったのですが・・・波はあったけどこれまたストーミーコンディション。
うろうろしただけですが、色々なポイントでたくさんの知り合いに会えたので
これはこれでOKとしておきましょう。
I went to country yesterday/Sunday form early in the morning.
Loading 9′6 Typhoon Big-wave long, 6′6 Mini-gun and 5′10 Christenson Quad that my favorite.
I’m ready but another stormy condition day (again…) didn’t jump in the water but
I met with many of friends when I drive around country so I’m still OK.

初挑戦、Quadのフィンセットアップは難しい。 1cmずらすだけでダメボードがMagicボードに変身
